DESCRIPTION:The YADCA March Forum has been cancelled due to the unpredictability of the cyclonic weather.\nThere has been correspondence from Marty Hunt MP and Cr David Law about the realignment of Creightons Road. YADCA will organise a special meeting for residents affected by this decision to discuss the responses. \nAnita has prepared the following summary of development applications and this month’s development report is available here. \nHalcyon Stockland: Approval for over 50s lifestyle village. Application made for operational works – earthworks and plans of the complex submitted. \nPearl Service Station: Revised engineering plans\, architectural plans\, conditional approval by TMR\, retaining wall system\, AV swept path. \nMorgans Transport: Revised hydraulic plan. \nKiamba Wedding and Functions Venue (catering for up to 150 people): Accommodation and chapel; plans and reports submitted. \nWorkers Accommodation at Equine Facility\, Bunya Road: Nine beds for rural workers. \nOver Height House\, Burtons Road\, North Arm: Two submissions against the project. \nThe next YADCA forum will be on Monday 14 April. SUMMARY:Special Meeting re Creightons Road Closure
DESCRIPTION:The closure of the Creightons Road intersection with Wappa Falls Road was a topic of discussion at the YADCA February Forum. A large number of residents affected by the closure attended the forum. Cr David Law and Member for Nicklin\, Marty Hunt\, were in attendance and committed to follow up on questions raised.
