The Sunshine Coast Hinterland to Headland Poetry Trail is a place-making initiative of Sunshine Coast poets Judith Bandidt, Deanne Lister and Lyn Browne, in collaboration with Sunshine Coast Regional Council, local artists and communities.

Six mini-trails situated in popular public spaces from the Blackall Range to Point Cartwright make up the complete Hinterland to Headland Poetry Trail. QR codes provide links to recordings of the poems at each location with internet access.

The Yandina ‘walk and drive’ audio poetry trail consists of six listening posts at sites in and near Yandina – the old Anglican Church, School of Arts, Heritage Park and Railway goods shed in town, and the South Maroochy River crossing and Mt Ninderry walking trail just out of town.

Scan the QR codes at each post to hear recordings of poems written and read by the poetry trail poets about Yandina’s early settlement and cultural heritage.

Follow the Poetry Trail at Maleny Golf Course, Montville Russell Family Park, Kenilworth Little Yabba Creek, Yandina and Mt Ninderry, the Maroochy Wetlands Sanctuary and Point Cartwright.
