Halycon Stockland will lodge an Impact Assessable DA this week. That means the development will be advertised and you will have the opportunity to comment. Below is an image of the masterplan.
Halycon says it reflects:
- Development of unconstrained serviced land in the urban footprint.
- Provision of additional housing stock to respond to the regions urgent housing needs.
- Providing additional housing choice for the over 50s market.
- Providing housing affordability at 70 to 80% of median values, and with government rental assistance available.
- Providing connection by design, with a safe walkable community, with easy links into the existing Yandina community.
- Promoting sustainability, with energy efficient homes, water sensitive urban design, solar power options, homes designed to reflect the natural setting and enhancements of green links and biodiversity corridors.
