At a YADCA forum last year, members suggested YADCA write once again to TMR seeking a better public transport service for our growing community.
Currently bus 631 comes from Nambour along Nambour Connection Road to the bus stop beside the Yandina Railway Station and then goes along the highway to Eumundi, bypassing much of Yandina, Bridges and North Arm.
Bus route 630 bypasses Yandina all together going from Nambour train station along the highway to Eumundi (markets), Noosa and Coolum.
The Gympie train passes through Yandina twice a day.
The letter, here, went to Marty Hunt MP in the hope that he could advocate for a better service.
Unfortunately, it gained no traction with TMR. Their advice is here.
