Sunshine Coast Regional Council Budget allocations for Yandina and District 2024 – 2025

What’s in the Council budget for Yandina and surrounds? A quick look reveals:

  • Tea Tree Park, Yandina. Dog off Leash Area Stage 1 – fence and gate entrance construction. $140,000
  • Stevens Street, Yandina- Carpark Design. $50,000
  • Trial Bus service realignment at Yandina Route 631 Trial extension – Council’s contribution as per Funding Agreement with Translink. $33,000
  • Potential Bus Service Improvements / Trials Allowance for partnered arrangements with TransLink/TMR including the investigation and promotion of a high frequency hop-on-hop-off or hail and ride service linking key coastal destinations, the continuation of the trial bus service diversion serving the Ginger Factory and eastern Yandina industrial area, and other travel choice initiatives and activities $300,000
  • $1.9 million to upgrade North Arm Road Gravel Road to sealed road standard
  • Ferntree Creek Road gravel road upgrade, Kulangoor $574,700
  • Kiamba Road Bridge replacement, Kiamba $336,000
