The new Division 10 Councillor David Law has told YADCA that he is committed to increased openness and inclusiveness at Council.
He said his first 12 weeks as a Councillor were a steep learning curve in which he attended over 50 workshops.
“I am still getting up to speed and looking forward to hearing from the community,” he said. “I am particularly keen to be part of the Yandina 150 celebrations in September.”
David pointed out that every council meeting since he started has been live streamed due to covid-19 restrictions. “I will do everything I can to ensure that all future council meetings are also live streamed as the public appetite for transparency is keen,” he said.
