YANDINA’S FOOTPATHS

You are currently viewing YANDINA’S FOOTPATHS

Yandina needs a connected network of priority footpaths that will allow people to get around town safely on foot.

In the Gubbi Gubbi language Yandina means “to go on foot” however, if you rely on a mobility device or are pushing a pram with children on scooters or bikes, the going is not easy or safe. Some sections of footpath in the heart of town and leading to school are poorly maintained or unsealed.

YADCA is collecting data on where people encounter unsafe or non existent footpaths on their walks to school and around town. Please send your comments and photos to: secretary@yadca.org
